Established by Ern Bennet in 1879, Humphris Nursery has come a long way. This large production nursery has been modernised, expanded and cared for by 6 generations of the Humphris family making it one of the oldest continuously registered wholesale nurseries in Australia.

Today, Humphris Nursery is located on 20 hectares in Mooroolbark, as well as 85 hectares of production growing sites throughout the regional Yarra Ranges region in Gruyere, Yellingbo and Woori Yallock, Victoria.  Humphris Nursery has expanded and developed to include not just high quality plants to the retail trade, but also to landscapers, councils, advanced growers and plant breeders. We also offer contract growing support.

Humphris Nursery has a broad and varied product range, comprising of nearly 1000 varieties including exotics, natives, grasses, with a specilaised propogating department and unique production skills in the grafting of Australian Natives.  Our worldwide network of licencing agreements provide access to the very best of emerging PBR plants from Australia and around the world and is supported by a passionate and qualified team who display the highest levels of service, professionalism and support to all facets of horticulture.

Supplying over 2 million plants nationally to the retail, council and landscape trade annually, we are focussed on enhancing our production capacity and embracing modern growing techniques and technology to continue to meet the needs of our dynamically developing customer base.
