Plants in the Aloe Aloe ® collection were originally bred in South Africa and have been trialled across and propagated in Australia.

Every plant in the Aloe Aloe ® superior hybrid collection gives the great advantages that cloned hybrid vigour offers over ordinary seed grown aloes:

  • Magnificent flower display with many times more flowers per plant than ordinary aloe varieties

A small and beautiful aloe growing to a height of 20cm and width of 12cm.  Best grown as a container specimen in the tropics or sub tropics.  Can be planted in beds if the position is well protected and the soil is free draining.

KEY FEATURES Numerous dainty white flowers (sometimes with a faint pinkish tinge at the base of the flowers) appear in late summer/early autumn above the delicate fleshy green leaves.
Bird attracting.
GROWING CONDITIONS Grows in full sun and part shade in well drained soil.
Tolerates very dry and hot conditions.
Low frost tolerance – keep protected.
PLANT CARE When planting out, do not bury the neck of the plant.
Fertilise annually in spring.
Prefers occasional watering particularly in summer – do not let the soil dry out completely nor be too wet.
