KEY FEATURES Silky hairs covering the foliage make it soft to touch.
Bird attracting tubular, orange-red flowers are produced mainly in spring and summer.
GROWING CONDITIONS Requires well drained soils in full sun to light shade.
Drought tolerant once established.
PLANT CARE Mulch well to suppress weeds and conserve soil moisture.
Feed with a low phosphorus native fertiliser.
No lime.
